<description>Great article here - we are always encouraging and highlighting the benefits of year round outdoor activity despite the weather. When the temps drop and the snow flies it is definitely more of a challenge to get outside in those elements. You suggested some great gear to help people challenge the conditions comfortably AND stay safe on slippery ice. I would like to add that Stabilicers are a great ice cleat - depending on the level of winter activity you can choose from 4 different styles. The Stabilicer Lites and Sports are both designed to be durable - one for casual, every day use and one for runners. Cleats combat icy conditions AND they are made in the USA. Maine to be exact. Worth checking out. www.32north.com
Stay safe out there and keep moving!
